Tuesday 22 December 2015

It's beginning to look a lot like the most wonderful time of the year!
Perhaps you don't agree? I am quite a fan of the festive period. I know it can get stressful, lonely and anticlimactic at times for very many of us but I tend to take the opinion that if I stay relaxed and just enjoy those around me it can't be too bad.
It is certainly a time when I think back over the past 12 months and I have to say that 2015 has been a brilliant one! I performed all over the UK and met some wonderful musicians, promoters, radio hosts and most importantly music fans and supporters. I'd like to say thanks for the support and offer you some little Christmas goodies including a free download of a brand new song and the chance to buy a physical copy of my album if you don't have one already (or would like to give one as a gift.)

Get You

I'm really happy to share the lyric video for "Get You" a track which I wrote with my friend Emily Ewing produced by the excellent Dave Drapper. The video was created by Ben at Bravo Oscar. Free download available for everyone on my mailing list, email "join" to info@robertlanemusic.co.uk
Robert Lane album physical copies now available on robertlanemusic.co.uk from Robert Lane on Vimeo.

Physical copies of my album available for order
I have made physical copies of my album available for purchase on my website, as I know there's quite a few people out there who would like the physical CD but haven't had chance to buy one at a gig. The video above explains how to make an order. Orders will help me complete some new music, and the album is perfect for Christmas!
Visit the shop tab to buy your copy.
January and February gig dates
I have some great concert dates booked for the start of 2016, with more likely to be added soon.
13/01 Ramsbottom Folk Club
30/01 Lynn Arms
06/02 Albion Brewery Bar, Northampton
24/02 Bury Songwriters Circle
25/02 Speakeasy Hull
26/02 Launderette Sessions, Durham (supporting Bob Fox)
27/02 Suddabys, Walton
Finally I'd like to wish you a happy Christmas and fantastic New Year, however you choose to spend them. Here's two of my favourite Christmas curios, odd as they are they make me feel happy and festive.
